*) Atlantic salmon may only be caught with rods. The use of sinkers is only permitted when fishing with worms. A surface float must be used when float fishing. It is not permitted to use line with a sinking grade higher than 3. Fishing with shrimp is forbidden. It is forbidden to fish in such a way that the fish will probably be hooked. It is only permitted to catch Atlantic salmon which are at least 35 cm long.
Tackle with more that three single hooks may not be used (a triple hook counts as three single hooks). The distance between the hook stem and the hook point shall not be greater than 12 mm (hook no. 2/10), or when using one hook 15 mm (hook no. 4/0).
During fishing the line, or any float, shall make up the casting weight. In other words the weight shall not lie in a tube (tube of heavy material) or in another part of the tackle.
